How to become a sublicensee?

Ductal® is an ultra-high performance concrete that adds value to a manufacturer's business through innovative new products and/or solutions that compliment their existing product offerings.

Ductal® precast elements can be manufactured only by those companies holding a valid Ductal® sublicense granted by Lafarge. This sublicense requires that all Ductal® products may only be produced using the "Full Ductal® Premix" (all raw materials: binders, additives, fibers, etc.), provided by Lafarge.

To obtain a Ductal® sublicense, you must:

• be registered as a company/firm;
• discuss your project/business case with a Ductal® representative in order to determine feasibility and economical validity as well as to select the appropriate Ductal® product range for your business. 
• participate in theoretical and practical training, tailored to the company's initial core activity;
• sign and commit to the obligations of the Ductal® sublicense (quality control, safety, production and curing processes);
• have a suitable workshop/production facility and equipment suitable for the production of Ductal® products. The building must be covered and frost protected; the air and mold temperatures must be between 5 and 35 ° C.
• Allow Lafarge to audit the production process annually. Technical assistance* may be provided to partner companies upon request.

* Technical assistance can not be equated with the design of an element, the receipt of moulds, or control rules implementation. Additional services for Ductal Sublicensees may include conceptualization of a cost effective solution, business analysis, assistance with prototyping, prequalifications, trouble-shooting, project review and project debriefing upon completion.
