Ductal® is sold as a kit including the premix powder, fibers and admixtures. The premix must be kept dry at temperatures over 10°C and should be consumed within three months of delivery. Ductal® concrete is produced according to a strictly defined procedure which requires precise weight portions.
Batching time depends on the performance of the mixer. Considering the fine structures and elements built with Ductal®, the formwork must be carefully designed and built. Geometric dimensions and tolerances must be highly accurate and precise. Once the mixing is completed, Ductal® is cast according to previously defined methodology, without vibration (except in special cases).
To further enhance Ductal's properties, thermal heat treatment can be applied after setting. This accelerates the maturing process of the product and provides the best strength and durability. |
