The Ductal® range includes 3 types of materials for specific applications:
- Structural and infrastructural: Ductal® with metallic fibers
- Liable to be exposed to fire: Ductal®-AF
- Architectural: Ductal® with organic fibers

Ductal® with metallic fibers: For high-performance structural applications, reinforcement is provided by metallic fibers distributed throughout the matrix core.
Ductal®-AF: is a version of Ductal® with metallic fibers specially developed for building structures that need to be fire-resistant. It has the same mechanical properties but also exhibits a fire resistance equivalent to standard concrete, therefore it requires no extra protection.
Ductal® with organic fibers: is specially designed for elements in which aesthetic appearance is more important than mechanical properties. The reinforcement consists of organic (poly-vinyl alcohol) fibers, may be produced in a range of colors (based on white), and avoids the risks associated with the emergence of fibers on the surface (rust marks, accidental injury, etc.). It is particularly suitable for wall panels, urban spaces, decorative elements, etc.
A heat treatment cycle can be applied to the Ductal® material after setting. This treatment consists of subjecting the structures to a temperature of between 60 and 90°C for a period of 48-72 hours. This specific feature of the Ductal® process accelerates maturation of the material and gives it dimensional stability immediately after manufacturing, thereby increasing its durability in harsh environments. |
