Safety is the Lafarge Group's number one priority. Since 2002, the Group has seen a significant drop in the number of workplace accidents and a reduction in their seriousness, in particular due to the Health & Safety management system deployed on all sites. Lafarge is therefore aiming for zero accidents, by respecting four main principles:
- Inform and train employees and subcontractors about the risks involved in their activity;
- Ensure safety standards are systematically applied;
- Implement incident reporting procedures and carry out regular audits;
- Identify, publish and apply best practices on all sites.
This safety policy is applied to activities involving Ductal® for all our users as follows:
- Initial safety training
- Provision of a suitable personal protective equipment kit
- Safety audits
- Awareness raising programs for all participants.
