• Special regime for the RATP
For their bus center in Thiais, the RATP called upon two architects Emmanuel Combarel and Dominique Marrec. A skin covered with 900 wedges by square meter is dressing the building with holes of red, blue, orange and yellow lights. This skin has been made with Ductal®, the famous ultra high performance concrete from Lafarge.

Very design with its delicate handrail made of inox metal, this curved spiral staircase from Escaliers Décors is made of Ductal®, the ultra high performance fibred concrete from Lafarge Ciments. It is available in 2 diameters (1.30m and 1.50m) and 2 directions of rotation. Concrete colored within the volume.

• A middle-class house welcomes an immaculate museum.
The Tomi Ungerer Museum is hosted by the previously Villa Greiner in Strasbourg. The architects Emmanuel Combarel and Dominique Marrec designed a « Magic Carpet » to access from the reception pavillon to the ground floor of the Villa. This 1.40m width outdoor handrail, made of Ductal® (ultra high performances fibred concrete) is composed of 32 plates placed on stainless steel small studs.

Ductal®, an ultra high performances concrete seduces architects and designers. This material is developed by Lafarge Ciments, and is 10 times more resistant than a traditional concrete ; it has an extreme fineness.
