Precaster

Ductal® is sold in a package including the pre-mixed powder, fibers and admixtures. This mix must be kept dry at temperatures over 10°C and used within three months.

Ductal® concrete is produced according to a strictly defined procedure which implements rigorously respected proportions. Production time depends on the quality of the mixer used, for Ductal®’s formula adapts to the mixer. Given the fine structures built with Ductal®, the formwork must be carefully designed and built.

Geometric dimensions and tolerances must be highly accurate and strictly respected. Once the mixing is completed, Ductal® is cast according to previously defined methodology, without vibration (except in special cases). One of Ductal®‘s specific features is that it can undergo heat treatment if necessary after setting.

This accelerates the maturing process of the product and provides the best strength qualities immediately after production.
