What's new

Belleville Day-Care Center

The 19th arrondissement in Paris hosts a new municipal Day-Care Center made of Ductal®

Ductal® has been selected by the architect Bruno ROLLET, for its aesthetics (material effect) and its resistance (fineness of its layers). This material covers 650 m² of the façade of this new building. The façades made of white glinting Ductal® are embellished with boxes of bright colors and give to the whole building a geometrical aspect which perfectly fits in the urban landscape

Ductal® for Tokyo's Haneda Airport

Tokyo's Haneda Airport has reached full capacity on its three runways. The construction of a fourth runway will make it possible to open up new international connections for the capital. Emerging from the sea, an ultra modern pier on submerged piles will be entirely covered with Ductal® slabs fixed on steel girders.

Resistance to freezing, the degree of impermeability, the capacity to resist salt abrasion, as well as the lightness of the materials shaping the slabs were the criteria that led to the choice of an ultra-high peformance concrete.

The company Taiheiyo, licensed by Lafarge, undertook to supply the airport site with Ductal® for the next two years. A project to watch !
